Dooms Day Planning

Great to have you on board for day number five of the 12 days of Christmas.  Today I just want to go into event planning and there's a concept that I wanted to go around that.  It can work out that on the day things don't go as well or people aren't as happy as how works out.  It seems to just unfold naturally and they can be a bit of a groundhog day process to it.  Let's just say that this is for those who find that there is not so great aspect to Christmas.

H.I.P for Merry Christmas

I going to put out there that you create a Hierarchy of Individual Priority (H.I.P.) .  A Hierarchy of Individual Priority - so what that is, is that you taking the people that matter most to you and taking their needs and consideration. So what I mean by that is that the default of how the event plays out when you go to Christmas day is what the host is wanting is what everyone does. So you might turn up I don't know it might be say that you might turn up at 10 o'clock in the morning and the host might be "like hay stay all the way through to nine o'clock, 10 o'clock, 11 o'clock at night and it works out that it's not it's not in the best interest for everyone to stay around for that long because you know things play out Christmas day isn't all what it's meant to be, by the time it goes through the duration.  So instead of going the default, which is the host invitation, you can ask yourself what is it that I'm wanting out of Christmas day, what is it that's my significant others, being partners, children so forth – what do they want.  So you get clear about what is it that that they're wanting and work out what you going to do based on that.    I just go back to the simple example that if it works out that that you know the Christmas is pretty great up until about the 4 to 5 hour mark then you go "well that's great that our point, it's time to go and use the Christmas time and other way".

A Way Forwards

It's actually taking on board those considerations, so you are actually listening to the needs of those individuals, including yourself, and working out what you want to do in regards to Christmas from that.  So that's just a concept and hierarchy of individual priorities.   I hope to have you on board for day six we're I'll go into Christmas Day it's self.   I look forward to sharing more with you then.
